Livestock and anabolizers

Since early January 1989, a European order strictly prohibits handing over natural or artificial anabolizers to beef cattle. In Spain, however, an illegal network of anabolic agents for livestock has recently been discovered.
(Photo: T. Elosegi).More than one may think that analyzing meat is the best way to detect fraud, but for the moment it is useless. The proper use of deer or oestradiols, for example, leaves no trace on livestock.
The problem can be solved with the invention of new analytical techniques, which requires large investments in research. However, at the Seoul Olympics, athletes used new and accurate techniques to detect if they took anabolic drugs, and as in this world there are millions of inhabitants who eat meat, each comes to the head the following question: Is not the health of the person so good?
