For the regeneration of the Irulegi clay

The ceramic fragments found in Irulegi are small vestiges of how they lived there more than 2,000 years ago. Based on these small fragments, the archaeologists of Aranzadi generate hypotheses about the shape and size of the pieces. The replicas are then embodied in the workshop of the potter Blanka Gómez de Segura. These pieces, created in the Basque Pottery Museum, can be seen in the exhibition ‘From Irulegi to Pompelo’.
