Mijo Lizarzaburu Garcia on sex and gender

Colloquium by Mijo Lizarzaburu García on sexual and gender construction. Lizarzaburu participates in the doctoral program in Philosophy, Science and Values at the University of the Basque Country, in the IAS-Research group. She is a well-known feminist activist.It mainly investigates the thickphobia and the disciplining and pathologization of bodies as a political strategy.

The talk was led by Ana Galarraga Aiestaran, from Elhuyar, within the cycle in the light of scientific women. The cycle aims to make Basque women scientists known and is jointly organized by Donostia Kultura and Elhuyar.
