[Garbiñe Elizegi Narbarte on cultural safety in health]

Garbiñe Elizegi Narbarte (Pomona, California-USA, 1975) holds a PhD in nursing. The thesis analyzed the experiences of Basque women and non-normative genders in health in the Basque Country. She currently works as a nurse at the Irurtzun Health Center and lives in Lekaroz. In addition to research, she works in feminism and land defense as a member and activist of the popular movement.
