Titan, Saturn's largest moon, is covered by a dense atmosphere of nitrogen, which can be seen in the image as a blue layer around the Titans. After the Titan you see the moon Thetis. Now, astronomers at Johns Hopkins University have proposed that this nitrogen was released from the surface ice of the moon by the impact of asteroids and comets.
