Yesterday, Wednesday, 27 September, the STEAM Sare 2023 career guidance day was held at the BEC-Bilbao Exhibition Centre, organized by the Department of Education in collaboration with Innobasque.

Over 800 students from 4th ESO from CAPV educational centers met at BEC, with about 90 professionals working in Basque companies and institutions in the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). The young students had the opportunity to know firsthand the work these professionals do in their daily routine.

The aim of the day is, on the one hand, to help young people in the choice of studies and professions, showing the diversity of STEM professions and offering a direct relationship with professionals, and, on the other, to awaken vocations and professional aspirations in these areas, especially among girls. Elhuyar joins this objective and as a dynamic of the day.
