Programmed cell necrosis, which is involved in some heart diseases, has attracted cancer scientists. Cell programming aims to reduce tumor cell resistance to cancer treatments.

For this, necrosis is favkines TNF alfa (which causes tumor necrosis) or inhibition of the nf-kB factor that hinders programmed death in tumor cells.
