Spectacular images with the Hubble Telescope

2002/07/04 Elhuyar Zientzia

The new Hubble telescope will allow us to clearly see stellar explosions. Among other things, this telescope will allow us to know better the incidents that stars have in their life.

The spectacular images that we will receive, in addition to presenting explosions of the stellar masses of our galaxy, will allow us to analyze its remains. These residues are called Cassiope A. Astronomers want to closely analyze the remains of these supernovae thanks to the high-quality images offered by Hubble. Astronomers will try to find out, among other things, whether groups of gases form in these explosions. According to scientists, in the new generations of stars and flattened it is possible that these groups of gases are recycled.

In addition, each color of the Hubble images will provide a different information: the blue-colored parts, for example, will report the amount of oxygen and red sulfur information.

Numerous scientists have stressed that this telescope will be very progressive for the field of astronomy.
