Meetings of young students with researchers in Navarra and Gipuzkoa

“Peer Meeting” of Navarra (Pamplona, 25 February 2022):

At the “Peer Meeting” organized by STEAM Planeta y Elhuyar, 33 students from the following Navarra Secondary Schools participated: IES Amazabal de Leitza, Colegio Luis Amigó de Mutiloa and IES Biurdana de Pamplona. Together with them 14 researchers from Navarre Universities and various research centers. The young people presented their projects to the researchers in April at the Feria de la Tecnociencia de Pamplona and in June at the Feria de las Ciencias Elhuyar de Bilbao.

Gipuzkoa Peer Meeting (Donostia, March 21, 2022):

Eureka from the Kutxa Foundation! At the “Peer Meeting” organized by the Museum of Science and Elhuyar, students from the Gipuzkoa Secondary Education Centers participating in Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka, such as those from La Salle de Beasain, Maria Reina de San Sebastián, Ikastola San Benito de Lazkuro, Ikastó de la Salle In total, 20 groups and 73 students. And together with the students, 24 researchers from universities and research centers from the UPV/EHU. The projects presented by young people to researchers will be presented in June at the “Feria de la Ciencia Elhuyar” in Bilbao.

“Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka” and “Tecnociencia”

Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka is an initiative of Elhuyar, the 10 edition of which will be 2022. Students create scientific or technological projects throughout the course, guided by the advice of researchers and university professors. Many of these papers will be presented at the fair to be held in Bilbao in June.

As for the Tecnociencia fair, this year will be held on 9 April. Groups of students from 19 schools in Navarre are developing projects for this initiative, many of which will participate in the fair that Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka will hold in June in Bilbao.
