01/09/2008 | Elhuyar

The life expectancy of a person with twenty years of AIDS disease has gone from 56 to 69 years between 1996 and 2005, due to the improvement of medicines to treat this disease. To this conclusion comes a research published in the journal The Lancet that analyzes the medical history of 40,000 patients from the United States, Europe and Canada. However, to have that life expectancy it is essential to take the medicines correctly. The state of the defensive cells of patients at the time of drug administration also has great influence.
