Those responsible for the Paris zoo are very happy because an African cheetah has just been born. The fact is very important because the animal is in danger of extinction and the birth is due to ovulation caused.

Cheetahs barely reproduce both in nature and in captives, since the sperm of males have large anomalies and females have non-regular cycles. Its main reason is consanguinity.

A program is being carried out to analyze the reproduction problems of the 20 cheetahs present in French zoos. The aim of the program is to increase the degree of reproduction of gepards. The birth of the baby is a success, since it has been detected that one of the attentions is not sterile, which will allow the use of artificial insemination techniques.
