1998/06/01 Elhuyar Zientzia Iturria: Elhuyar aldizkaria

American scientists have claimed that drinking beers at their favorite bar can occasionally reduce the chance of cancer. According to these scientists, beer contains substances that prevent tumor growth and destroy the toxins generated by them.

Researchers at Oregon State University have analyzed nine components of isolated flabonoids from the hop plant.

Controlling this, for breast and ovarian cancers, it is estimated that the growth of cancer cells can be halved.

Statistical data are also provided for these results. In fact, it is known that in Asia there are fewer breast cancers and these scientists have related it to the results of the research carried out. That is, according to them, the least presence of breast cancer in Asia is due to the flabonoids found in soy seeds.

Another advantage that has been put on the table is that the pregnancies that are made when treating these substances are very light. They say they have taken an important step in the search for cancer medicine.
