Storms clean the skin of the Sun
The huge gas eruptions that sustain solar storms have seen influence on the cycle of the solar magnetic field. A group of physicists from NASA analyzes the seven thousand gas eruptions collected by the SOHO satellite for research.
The gas eruptions in solar storms eliminate the remains of ancient magnetic fields near the poles, which allows, among other things, to invest every eleven years the polar zone of the Sun.
