Coordinated by the World Health Organization (WHO), scientists, doctors, funders and producers have met under an international cooperation initiative to accelerate the development of a vaccine against covid-19.

In the published statement, they warned that it is essential to obtain a general vaccine to control the pandemic. Aware that development takes a lot of time, they commit to working together to minimize that time for the benefit of the most vulnerable population groups.

They say that collaboration and information sharing can prevent the waste of duplicities and strengths. Therefore, the statement has ended with the following words: “We will work hard to increase opportunities for one or more safe and effective vaccines to be available to everyone shortly.”
