New element 118
A group of Californian physicists claim to have created the 118 element, the heaviest element of all time. It explains what was the procedure of conducting the experiment, but following this methodology nobody has obtained the same result. However, in order to accept it as an element it is essential that the experiment and the result be repeatable. The scientists themselves tried to prove this, but were accused of using false data and there was distrust.
