Rutger University has created a new pill of polymeric chains of acetylsalicylic acid within the initiative of companies DuPont and Johnson & Johnson. The new pill will have the same use as conventional vacuum cleaners, but it will be much more effective. When normal aspirin enters the belly it breaks down into salicylic acid, affecting the walls of the belly, causing ulcers to appear. The new pill, however, due to its elastic structure, does not break down in the belly. It breaks down in the large intestine, avoiding abdominal problems and increasing its effectiveness. According to the researchers, polymeric pills will have a lower amount of aspirin and should be taken less times to achieve the same effect.
