25 years ago, on July 20, 1976, NASA's Viking Lander 1 probe reached Mars and landed on it. It was the first probe to slow down the arrival on the red planet.

After the first came other missions. The second probe was sent on September 3 of the same year and subsequently two satellites were sent. Thus the most important project in history was launched to study Mars.

Following the Viking project, NASA has prepared new missions to study Mars. While not everyone has been successful and in some missions NASA has spent and spent a lot of money, the Mars Pathfinder and Mars Global Surveyor missions were very helpful in gathering information about this planet.

Today, the explorer Mars Odyssey 2001 is on its way to Mars, and according to its leaders, will arrive on October 23. On the other hand, missions are also being prepared with the aim of studying the soil geology of the planet.

Therefore, it seems that things about Mars will last a lot and the media will continue to play with the news there.
