J. M. Machimbarrena: "Digital education is necessary"

Juan Manuel Machimbarrena holds a PhD in psychology and is a professor and researcher at the UPV/EHU. He has been studying the relationship between young people and mobile phones for years. Rather than saying that they are an addiction or a public health problem, he prefers to talk about problematic use. To solve the problem, he says that both young people and parents need digital education and also calls for stricter regulations on these devices.
