Mirene Begiristain Zubillaga, feminist economist on agroecology

Mirene Begristain Zubillaga (Andoain, 1972) holds a PhD in Economics and a Professor and Researcher at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the UPV/EHU. In particular, she researches agriculture and food systems from the perspectives of agroecology and feminism. He participates in different experiences and collective processes in the Basque Country with the objective of food sovereignty.

the colloquium takes place within the cycle "In the light of women scientists", by Ana Galarraga Aiestarán. The cycle is the result of a collaboration between Elhuyar and San Sebastian Culture.
