Ecosphere - Subject to rare earths

They are indispensable to us. The metals we call rare earths are essential for the manufacture of efficient magnets and electric motors, which we need, among other things, for the exploitation of renewable energies. But, on the one hand, their thinning is contagious and, on the other hand, we are geopolitically very dependent on them because we have to bring them from other countries. The question is, can they be recycled? Maider García de Cortazar from Tecnalia and Iñaki Díaz from CEIT have been talking to us about all this.
