Despite the great advances in the technology of telescopes, stars still have some unknown bright spots in the universe. An international group of astronomers has achieved the most accurate star images that have been made to date, the star Altair. This star is twice the Sun and is 17 light-years from Earth. The series of CHARA telescopes, located on Mount Wilson in California, have made it possible to produce images. The sum of images of several telescopes has made a virtual telescope, 20 times more powerful than any telescope located on Earth.
