The Roadrunner supercomputer has managed to operate ^a billion (1015) per second in IBM laboratories, thus becoming the fastest working computer. This supercomputer belongs to the U.S. nuclear security department. In fact, it was designed to guarantee the US nuclear reserve, but it is also used for other calculations such as plasmas physics, molecular dynamics and climate change.
