The brain of musicians

The brain of musicians is not equal to non-musicians. The temporal plane associated with the ear is more developed in the left hemisphere than in the right.
On the other hand, the corpus callosum that ensures communication between the two hemispheres, has between 10 and 15% more developed by musicians. This latter feature will allow players to better psychomotor coordination by improving communication between the two hemispheres.
According to researchers, these characteristics do not have much to do with genetics. However, with the training sessions of the musicians, and those who have started learning music before the age of seven, they say they have these characteristics more marked.
