Magnesium diboruro, atypical superconductor

According to their behavior in magnetic fields, superconducting materials are divided into two groups. In the first class, at low temperature, the magnetic field does not reach the inside of the material; in the second, yes, they create magnetic turbulence inside the material. Physicists at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium, in collaboration with a group of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, have found material that may contain both behaviors, magnesium diboruro. Depending on the temperature and the area, some areas produce magnetic turbulence and others do not.
