Cloned pigs have not survived the lung

At the University of Connecticut they cloned four pigs using the same technique they used to clone the Dolly sheep, with small changes. The result has not been very good, as the four pigs have died before turning six months. The first did not survive a day and the remaining three have died of a heart attack before six months. Therefore, researchers are studying the genes that have the most influence on the functioning of the heart to achieve better results by cloning animals.
