K-bot is a robot that mimics the human face. Presented at the annual congress of the AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science), it can be said that it is the most advanced robotic leader developed to date.
The K-bot robot mimics the gestures of anyone who gets on par, for the moment facial. Thanks to cameras in his eyes, he follows the movements of the face and, thanks to an advanced program, is able to move 24 mechanical muscles under the skin of polymer, very quickly and more than a second.
The robot has been developed by David Hanson, a former Disney employee. In your opinion, in the short term we will have robots on the street that mimic the entire human body. But Hanson hopes that, in addition to these robots, the K-bot robot will be the basis for the development of artificial muscles and also serve to help children with communication problems.
