This prestigious temple of Istanbul will be studied technically in depth by scientists from the University of Princenton in North America. This fascinating construction was built between the years 532 and 557, so only for five years, under the direction of the Artemio de Tralles and the Isidoro de Mileto.

What most surprises the technicians is its dome. And it is that despite having dimensions of 30 x 50 meters, in a thousand five hundred years the earthquake is still standing. The engineers seek, therefore, to improve the construction systems against the earthquake by studying Santa Sofía. But from the aesthetic point of view there is also much to learn in this beautiful temple.
