IBM introduces the new 4.5 GHz speed chip.
The number of transistors that have the silicon chips used by current computers will not be able to increase in the near future, so new chip designs are being developed to achieve higher speeds. IBM has been the first to present the new chip and the prototype
it has developed has a speed of 4.5 GHz. While the previous ones used a single clock to control the entire chip, the one developed by IBM uses local clocks in which each watch has a partial control of the chip.
