Theorem of the three numbers

1993/12/01 Elhuyar Zientzia Iturria: Elhuyar aldizkaria

The Italian researcher Lucio Giadouro-Astori has exposed a theorem to solve equations of straight triangles without using square roots. This theorem has its origin in a table of Mesopotamia about 4,000 years ago. The painting is located in the Museum of Iraq, where the isosceles triangle is located, some measures and an explanatory text of the use.

For the Italian mathematician, that genius defined an algorithmic procedure for the formation of reversing sequences to the infinity of a certain right triangle.

On this basis, Mr. Giadouro-Astori has established the so-called theorem of the three numbers. At first it puts “universal procedure” with pyramid number localization algorithm. These numbers are sorted according to the Fibonacci series, which takes us to the gold number (1,6180339).
