When genes fail

The infertility that more and more men suffer may be due to the loss of a gene by the chromosome{ . This has been believed and announced by at least the scientists working on the research project in Finland and the US. According to this hypothesis, when the essential gene for sperm production is “eliminated”, sterility occurs.
This has been, at least, in the cases that this group has analyzed so far. As we know, many times there has been mentioned the “error” of some gene among the factors that cause sterility, but so far it has not been possible to give a total demonstration. In any case, the journal Nature Genetics, which has realized all this, states that more research is being carried out to fully assume this hypothesis.
