Recycling and reuse is no longer the motto of the prestigious campaigns that environmentalists have often organized. In Israel they know that in order to survive in the future it is necessary to learn how to reuse resources, especially in relation to water. It is not just because we say: Researchers from the Israeli Technology Organization highlighted this in last year's activity report. Biologists and technical staff of the organization have recently conducted feasibility studies on the reuse of wastewater.

Taking advantage of river travel and major water courses, a double network of canals is being built in several Israeli cities. At the moment, this is an experimental model, but if the expected deadlines are met, the main cities will be able to use waste water before the end of the century. Water shortages have reminded Israelis that resources are limited.
