New roads despite

1989/11/01 Elhuyar Zientzia Iturria: Elhuyar aldizkaria

The problem of the Leizaran motorway, which is in full swing among us, is that the problem of new roads in Britain is not joking either. Nine British environmental groups, including Lunaren Lagunak, Greenpeace and WWP, have joined government road planning. The need for these roads and the criteria used in the design of the itineraries are not accepted. Some of the roads pass through regions of ecological value (Peak District National Park).

Spokespersons for the groups said that "the practice of the Department of Transport does not conform to the criteria of the Department of Environment".
