Growing knowledge of IES disease. Although the evolution of the disease of men is known, the same does not happen with that of women.

More and more things are known about AIDS disease. However, although the evolution of the disease is well known in men, the same does not occur in women.

The reason for this is easy to explain, that is, at first the most important part of the sick population was formed by homosexuals and drug addicts, so in most cases they were men. Therefore, it is logical that in the research carried out for the follow-up of the disease, men are used.

However, Michael Merson, head of the AIDS programme of the World Health Organization, says: The characteristics of the diseases that develop in women are similar to those that develop in men, but in women the clinical development of AIDS is very little known.
