Elhuyar and the Kutxa Foundation have signed a cooperation agreement to join the Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka organized by Elhuyar.

The objectives of Elhuyar are the dissemination and education of science and technology, and among them, the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) education skills in youth science and technology and the XXI. It generates initiatives for the development of subordinate competences.

The Kutxa Foundation has as a strategy to support the educational community in Gipuzkoa in promoting new learning opportunities. Within its strategy, from the Skills Development line, and within the STEAMatzen program, it will promote the development of projects with students with a STEAM pedagogical vision. It aims at developing and empowering young people’s skills in science technology and training (highlighting women) and incorporating the ways of thinking and content working within the STEAM “A”.

Cooperation between the objectives and strategies of both institutions is oriented towards the promotion of the vocation of juvenile science, the promotion of the culture of science in society and the tool of dissemination of science.

Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka - STEAM Gipuzkoa will be called a science fair and will be held for the first time on May 6 in Tolosa, in collaboration with the Town Hall of Tolosa.
