A. C. A working metal factory is located in southern Jordan around 2700 years. It is the largest factory that has been found and many interesting instruments have been found in very good condition: molds for copper ingots, stone hammers, axes, chisels, etc.

The whole factory has been preserved in very good condition. Apparently, the landslides caused by a great earthquake have covered the factory and all the remains have been preserved during all these years in the shelter of this land.

The scientists, with the objects found and all the data obtained, have managed to learn how the whole process of manufacturing copper tools was. It must be borne in mind that in those times copper was the most innovative technology of metals, and that these factories had great importance in the commercial network existing between Israel and Egypt.
