The mountain bike has had a great success among us. We know that in this type of bicycles we can travel by mountain roads, but in any case its physical condition is still important.

The "solar bike" has been recently assembled in Austria and is still in the testing phase.

One of the trials has been to cross Grobglockner, the largest mountain in Austria. All a success.

The solar bike has a system of acquisition of solar energy and is designed to carry out long and hard routes.

For this purpose it has a 24 V engine on the front wheel and this engine is powered by two batteries of 15 A.h. The batteries are powered by solar panels located at the rear of the bike, as can be seen in the image.

Driving the solar motor is very simple. You only have to influence on a rolling environment in the bicycle pommel.

Therefore, if your physical condition is normal and you want to walk along the most difficult mountain paths, the "solar bike" can be a good tool for it.
