Photo of the week: Red fox
The Rocky Mountain Fox (Vulpes vulpes macroura) is a carnivorous mammal.
Some individuals of this subspecies are reddish, but not all; some animals have a silver color and there are crossed variants.
The tail, as long as the body, is very hairy and is used as a blanket to sleep wrapped in the snow.
