On this occasion the firm TANDY has been responsible for the innovation, the expansion card TRACKSTAR, which aims to convert a compatible PC in APPLE II.

In this way, the entire set of programs in the APPLE library can be available on the PC. The use of this compatibility is very simple. The user can switch from working with MS-DOS to working in Apple mode without major drawbacks. A system, after using a program, may work with a program from the other system and return back to the previous one in a few seconds.
