Assisted by Xperia Play
Today, there are so many smartphones on the market that it is difficult for us to distinguish them from each other. That’s why today we bring you a completely different device: Pictures of Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. At first glance, it looks like a normal phone, maybe a little heavy, but if we open the screen, we will find a portable console similar to the PSP Go.
As soon as this movement is performed, the game interfaz is activated. It includes several pre-installed games: The Sims 3, Bruce Lee, Fifa 10 and Star Battalion. You can download more from the Internet. It has the usual controls of a PlayStation: two crosses, two joysticks, in this case touchpads, and two other buttons located under the screen. If you prefer, you can play by using the touchscreen, or by moving the device.
With a 1-GHz processor, a powerful graphics engine and a 4-inch display, the gaming experience is quite good. The main drawback is in the battery: if one of the games catches you, it will not last more than four or five hours.
As for the phone, it works with Android, the mobile operating system developed by Google. It offers good contact management by integrating your agenda with social networks and instant messaging systems. It can be connected to the Internet via WiFi or 3G, and has two cameras: the main one has a resolution of 5 Mp and a flash, and the other, the front one, serves for video conferencing.
Xperia Play has been on sale since April and if you don’t get it with an operator, it costs €649. It’s not cheap, but it’s on par with high-end mobile devices, and includes several gadgets in a single device.
