The mobile submarine

We threw the Xperia Z phone into the water of the Aquarium. We're not crazy. Valid for underwater photography!

If you think your phone does a lot of things, take a look at this. Like yours, it can be used to make calls, connect to the Internet, surf with GPS or listen to music. But it is also able to withstand shocks, dust and water. In fact, under water, you can penetrate it to a depth of 1 meter for half an hour. For what purpose? Well, for example, to take pictures underwater. It’s called the Sony Xperia Z and the key is on one hand in this hard glass and on the other hand in these covers that tightly close all the connections.

Speaking of taking photos, it has a 2 megapixel camera on the front that allows video conferencing with high resolution. And at the back, a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash that records video at a resolution of 1080p. It has fast autofocus, filters, and almost all the functions offered by a compact camera.

It has a large screen of 5 inches of high resolution; very useful for watching movies, playing video games or reading. One of the problems provided by devices with such a large screen is the consumption of the battery. To address this problem, different battery modes can be configured depending on the use we give to the mobile. For example, you can keep all networks disconnected when the screen is off, or choose the apps you need when you have very little battery left.

The truth is that for such a large phone it does not weigh much, 146 g, and is relatively easy to handle thanks to its thickness of 7.9 mm. We are talking about a high-end mobile that costs almost €700 and can support almost everything. I'm not going to throw him in the shark pit, just in case.
