[Epigenetic markers of placenta and saliva]

Since last autumn, mothers of all children born in the Hospital de Cruces have had the opportunity to donate their placenta. Based on this raw material, the Immunogetics research groups of the UPV/EHU are investigating whether it is possible to predict future diseases in children. To do this, they want to study the epigenetic marks that have been written on the placenta. With saliva, a research work has been carried out with the same objective.
