On the iPad

2011 will be the year of tablets. Today we are going to talk about the iPad. It was introduced a year ago and since then several other models have appeared, some of them with better technical characteristics. But no one has managed to surpass the ease of use of the Apple tablet and its sales.

The tablets are notebooks, touch computers, lightweight and very thin. They are mainly designed to connect to the Internet. With this model, for example, you can connect from anywhere, via WiFi and 3G. In addition, since the screen can be operated with two fingers, navigating through the network is very easy and intuitive.

It has a high quality screen for viewing photos and movies or playing video games. It is also useful for reading e-books. However, since it is an LED display (it does not use electronic ink), the eyes get tired before, and if you are on the outside, it does not look so good.

You have to synchronize the contents with your computer through iTunes because the iPad does not have a USB port or an SD card reader. In addition to the programs you have pre-installed, such as your browser, email, or calendar, you can download many free or paid apps from the Apple Store.

As for the price, the simplest model with 16 Gb of memory and WiFi costs 488 €, while the one with WiFi, 3G and 64 Gb costs 793 €. Today, we are an expensive whim, but in a few years we will almost all carry a tablet in the bag, for sure.
