The city of birds

We met the scientists Maite Laso and Nerea Pagadai from the ornithological department of Aranzadi. 220 nest boxes have been installed in San Sebastian to support the conservation and research of the city’s biodiversity. Urubians are also tracked by radio waves in order to know the location and investigate the quality of the city through them. Thanks to all the data, they have created the atlas of nesting birds of San Sebastián, a pioneering project.
