Regenerative capacity in animals

There are numerous examples of regenerative capacity in animals, from the axolot that reconstitutes the damaged spinal cord to the reptiles that recover the lost tail. But what is most used in research is zebrafish, which is able to recover if a part of the heart is cut off.
