The smart watch

It says time and much more.

Pockets, walls, bracelets... with needles or digital. The watches tell us much more than the time: the calendar, the moon phase... some models from the 80s even had a calculator. Inevitably, today’s watches are smart and connect to the Internet.

The idea is to carry a second screen of the mobile on your wrist to see messages, tweets and so on without leaving your mobile in your pocket. It can also serve to remotely control some of the apps we have on our phone.

This one is one of the first models to go on the market: Pictures of Sony Smart Watch. It communicates with the phone via Bluetooth and works with mobiles with the Android operating system. The first thing is to pair the two devices and download a couple of applications that will help us to configure the clock.

The watch includes some apps, but you can download more from Google Play. For example, there is an app that provides the weather forecast and another that will help you find the phone, as long as it is within the reach of Bloubluetooth, of course. It also serves to answer phone calls, read messages on the watch itself, and view social media news. You can also use it as a remote control for your phone’s music, as well as to control Endomondo while playing sports.

This Sony model can be purchased from 129€ and is available in many colors. Pebble and I’m watch have also released their versions, and since the beginning of the year there has been a rumor that Apple will also present a smart watch. Will they be scratched or lost on the list of technological failures? Time will tell.
