Preliminary test: Zuriñe Baña and marine microorganisms

The biologist Zuriñe Baña García is a professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and a researcher in the group ‘Marine microbes’. When he's not in class or in the lab, we'll find him at sea, picking up samples and doing bioprospecting. His area of research is microbial ecology, which has already seen the damage that the climate emergency is causing in marine microorganisms.
