Lithium-ion batteries are common in electronic devices, electric cars and many other applications. But lithium is scarce on the planet, and sodium can replace it to make batteries. It is not as effective as lithium, but is sufficient for many applications. And above all, it is abundant; among other things, in the sea there is a lot of sodium.
