This computer seems to be the result of another effort. Although the previous Macintosh Portable did not achieve great success, Apple has this time marked a new strategy to pave the way in the world of laptops.

This new computer weighs 2 kg less than the previous one and is also cheaper in price. In addition, backlighting of the screen facilitates reading.

It will have the Motorola 68000 processor, 1 Mb of RAM and the Apple Talk interface and its price will be around 3.300 dollars.

This machine will be accompanied by three other laptops. One will weigh 4 kg, the other 12 kg and the third and the lighter only 3.5 kg. All these models carry the Logitech Trackball device to handle the cursor.
