The five planets around Earth aligned
2004/03/29 Elhuyar Zientzia
These days Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn can be seen almost in a straight line. These five planets are currently on the same side of the Sun and are visible from the Earth.
If time goes along, to the West you can see the little Mercury just before the sunset; above is Venus, the brightest light in the sky; and between them you can see a straight, straight line of reddish Mars. Farther than on the same line are Jupiter and Saturn, the latter to the east.
It is a unique opportunity to observe the planets at first glance. And, with the help of the telescope, it seems that you can see the rings of Saturn quite clean. The covered sky of these days has hindered observation and allows us to see the planets aligned in the coming days.
