20% of endangered vegetation

We currently know 380,000 plant species. But within 10 years there will be 30,000 fewer on our planet if the trend is not corrected so far. This data has been provided by the International Association for the Conservation of Nature and if the forecasts are met, 20% of the world's vegetation will be lost forever in the next century. In addition, these forecasts have not taken into account the species that today are not classified, more than ten thousand, according to experts.
Of course, you cannot predict the evolution of plant species that will not be known to humans in the coming century. Some will not obtain a mechanism of self-development, while many will disappear by human action. Urbanization, pollution and habitat adaptation are the causes of the catastrophe. If no action is taken, the green planet of the new century will be less “green.”
